What's included

House Extensions, done properly.

Single-Storey

Kitchen and living extensions built off the footings, cavity walls and blockwork up to wall plate, openings formed for bi-folds, windows and the link to the house.

Two-Storey

Two-storey masonry built straight and plumb, floor to floor, with the lintels, padstones and ties in as drawn so the upstairs goes on a sound base.

Openings & Lintels

Door and window openings cut and formed with the right lintels and bearing, knock-throughs and structural openings handled with the steel sat on proper padstones.

Working With Your Trades

We slot in around the groundworker, joiner, roofer and plasterer so the shell is ready when they need it, keeping the job moving instead of holding it up.

Frequently asked

Common questions.

Do you do the whole extension or just the brickwork?

We do the masonry, footings to wall plate. On most jobs the homeowner has a builder or other trades for groundwork, roof and inside; we work in alongside them. If you need a hand finding the other trades we can usually point you the right way.

Can you build a two-storey extension?

Yes. We build single and two-storey extension shells, with the lintels, padstones and wall ties in as the drawings call for, all coursed level floor to floor.

Will you work to my architect’s and engineer’s drawings?

Always. We set out and build to the approved drawings and structural details, and we are used to working with the building inspector signing off the key stages.

How much disruption is there?

We keep the site tidy and the muck and materials stacked sensibly, and we leave the site clean at the end of each day. Valley plots are often tight, so we plan access and deliveries to keep things moving.

Do you cover access on steep or terraced plots?

Yes. A lot of valley houses sit on steep streets or have rear access only. We have built on plenty of them and will work out materials handling and scaffold access before we start.
